Brace yourself for Corners of Sanctuary, a heavy metal band hailing from Pennsylvania. If you're into a booming vocal sound, awesomely heavy instrumentals, and music that gets you going, then C.O.S. is surely the right band for you. The band consists of Sean Nelligan, Mick Michaels and James Pera. The trio compose classic heavy metal music that is reminiscent of early Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne.

Upon pressing play on "Sanctuary," an immediate connection is made between the vocalist and Rob Halford of Judas Priest. Bringing back the legendary Rob sound draws the listener into focusing on instrumentals behind that unforgettable tone. "Angels Only Dare" kicks off with a classic metal guitar riff that would grab the attention of any 80s metalhead. The power in the vocals and the catchy instrumentals make this track one of the best on the playlist by far. "Juggernaut" and "Wild Card" are two tracks that possess a total feel-good vibe for the listener.

Besides "Cross of War" having an awesome title, this song really ups the ante for this band. The intro lures the listener into getting into the rest of the track. Lyrics that speak mention phrases like 'sounds of thunder' make for an epic song nonetheless. Finally, "Forgotten Hero" is a track that makes you want to bang your head until you go numb.

To see this band play live would be an experience to say the least: heads banging left and right, moshpits forming within seconds and shouting lyrics all over the room. If you ever have the honor to watch Corners of Sanctuary play a set in your town, make sure you go crazy-- this band rocks hard. For those who love classic metal, you cannot go wrong with these dudes.
