The 2013 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books will be held on April 20 and April 21 on the campus of the University of Southern California. The festival includes readings, seminars, and panels featuring, in 2012, poets Henri Cole, Dana Gioia, Douglas Kearney, Edan Lepucki, Carl Phillips, and Bruce Smith; fiction writers Aimee Bender, Julie Otsuka, Edith Pearlman, Elissa Schappell, Luis Alberto Urrea, and Charles Yu; and creative nonfiction writers Meghan Daum, Samantha Dunn, and Cheryl Strayed, among others.
